Empower a Woman,

Empower a Nation!

WHAT WE DO

Main areas of our focus

Vocational Training

We offer two major programs: hairdressing and tailoring, along with supplemental classes, to young Togolese girls between 18 and 35. After their apprenticeships, students will train the next group of girls, and agree to continue to teach them till the end of the new students' three years.

Computer Course

The girls will be learning basic computer skills that will allow them to navigate social media, and learn how to use it for their benefit. They learn how to create and promote their business online.

Healthcare Course

The healthcare course is aimed to give the girls notions on feminine hygiene, how to have safe sex, and most importantly, for them to know their bodies.

Entrepreneurship course

This course teaches the girls how to be entrepreneurs, meaning to teach them how to open, run, and manage a business. The goal of this course is for them to know different ways to promote their business or reach more people.

This is our story

As women in STEM fields, we know the benefits that come with access to education. We know how access to information and skills can change perspectives and create opportunities. As African women, we know the expectations of patriarchal societies and the lack of investment in women. We cannot stand for our women, with an abundance of potential, to wither. Thus, we want to empower them; African women are the overlooked linchpin that can change the tides of poverty many Sub-Saharan African countries face. Freeing African women from sexual violence and empowering them to contribute to society, will strengthen African countries.
